tensions monday on two passenger jetssthat ad juut landed in new york.as sandra &ppndo reports... one pilot eve ttreatened to evacuate his plane if he wasn't given more i. information. --reporter ppg-as follows -- confusion and frustration moments after two passenger

jets landed at jff airport. "we're surroonded by emergency vehicles there's a reason for this. someeody's got to give us the reason or we're oing to evacuate the aircraft. you've got 60 seconds." for about ten tenss inutes, pplots demanded answwrs from the control tower after an american airlines and a fiin air flight were ordered to taxi to a remote area of the airport for inspection. "i'm the captain of this airliner and i need some inforratiin pronto." transportation security administration officials say an anonymous caller said there was a security threat on board these two jets coming into new york. "the pilot came on and told us and he had no information for a possible phone in threat."when situations like this happen, flight safety experts say ultimately the pilot can decide when to evacuaae a plane but relies on information from the ground.
